Advanced Placement (AP)

Students must meet pre-requisites to enroll. Students who score 3 or higher on the required AP exam are eligible to receive college credit from colleges and universities. Most colleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of his or her college choice.

Students interested in potential college course credit can enroll in several of the AP courses available. AP course selections are subject to change.

Khan Academy is now the official practice partner for AP. Their free AP videos, articles, and practice exercises are designed to build the knowledge and skills needed for AP-level courses. Courses in bold below are an active link and will open the Khan Academy practice link.

Advanced Placement (AP) Tests

Advanced placement tests are given at the completion of an advanced placement course. (See curriculum guide for complete listing of courses) The exams are administered in May and the results mailed to the home, high school, and specified colleges. Most colleges accept AP credit, but the student should check the policy of the college choice.
