How to Participate
1.      Log in to your Khan Academy account through Launchpad
2.      Start practicing in the areas that apply to you (9th/10th or 11th/12th).
3.      Interact with the Khanmigo AI tutor for an extra edge in the AI Explorers challenge.

CULINARY PROGRAM

Walt Disney World visiting our OCPS High School College Culinary Program!

On December 18th Chef Brad, a longtime partner of West Orange High School, & Chef Denny visited our campus and brought a multitude of goodies to add to our Christmas cookie swap. The chefs gave a presentation on their backgrounds and took questions from the student body in each period on what it means to be a chef. Both chefs also gave feedback for the many state and district competitions we are currently involved in. 

All students walked away with some great advice and some holiday cheer from our Disney partners! Thank you to Walt Disney World, Co. / Animal Kingdom Theme Park and to the chefs themselves for investing in their communities.

Photo days will take place in Room 216 - TV Studio

Underclassmen make up/retakes were Tuesday, December 16. Photos will be shared to parents emails based on skyward emails.

These photos will be used in the yearbook and for identification (skyward). Students must be photographed.

Free Tutoring Services - Brainfuse


Brainfuse offers free online tutoring through the Orange County Library System to ALL students in Orange County Public Schools.

FREE live tutors are available every day from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Using Brainfuse, students can connect with a qualified tutor for expert help in a variety of subjects.

**All SENIORS must notify Student Services of their FAFSA application status in XELLO**
  • The FAFSA is a required SENIOR CLEARANCE Checklist item.
  • Complete your FAFSA if recommended by the college or trade/tech school you are applying to, or opt out.

  • Report Your FAFSA Status
  • Open Xello through Launchpad
  • Click on "Show all tasks" under the "To-do List" section on the left hand side of the page. 
  • Scroll down to the "Add FAFSA Application Details," click on "Add details" 
  • Locate the "FAFSA and State applications" section, click on "Add details," and complete the details.
  • Please read the important information below about the FAFSA.
