Important Dates and Updates

2026 - 2027 Parking Information and Requirements

Student parking is available on campus for Seniors and Juniors who meet all of the following requirements:
  • Parking permit fee — Parking permits cost $100 for the 2026–2027 school year.
  • Valid driver’s license — Students must have a valid driver’s license. Learner’s permits are not accepted.
  • Proof of insurance — Students must provide a current auto insurance policy with the student listed as an insured driver or the portion of the policy that confirms minor‑driver coverage.
  • Vehicle registration — Students must provide a valid Florida vehicle registration.
  • GPA 2.5 cumulative unweighted GPA
  • Obligations — No financial obligations—TAKE CARE OF THIS NOW!
  • Discipline — No level 3 or level 4 referrals from 25-26 school year
  • Withdrawal policy — If a student withdraws from West Orange High School, the parking spot is forfeited for the remainder of the school year. Parking decals may not be transferred or redistributed.
  • Rules & expectations — By purchasing a parking permit, students agree to follow all WOHS and OCPS rules. Parking is a privilege and may be suspended or revoked for violations, including poor attendance or excessive tardies.
  • Refund policy — There are no refunds.
  • Displaying the decal — The parking sticker must be clearly displayed on the lower rear window on the driver’s side.
  • Parking procedure — Back‑in parking is not permitted.
  • Spot selection — Parking spaces will be selected and purchased through TeachTix.com.

Application Timeline
The application link will shared Monday, June 22 at 9:00 AM.
Once submitted, applications will be reviewed:
  • If approved, students will receive an individual link to pay and select their parking spot.
  • If not approved, students will receive an email outlining the corrections needed.
  • ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN APPROVED WILL HAVE ACCESS TO TEACHTIX
  • 7/13 @ 10 am- approved Seniors may begin space selection
  • 7/20 @ 10 am- approved Juniors may begin space selection
  • 8/3 – students can begin picking up their decals from the school
  • 8/8 – Senior Parking Lot Painting Day

AP Literature - Books for 2026-2027

West Orange Warriors! If you are interested in taking AP Literature and Composition with Mr. Pyne, these are the novels chosen by Mr. Pyne for close reading throughout the upcoming 2026-27 school year. 

Students will be expected to have a hard copy of the book for class -no Kindle, Nook, Kobo, or any other digital platform will be accepted.

CLASS OF 2026 UPDATES

Graduation Information

*Seniors that requested additional tickets will need to check their student OCPS email for the information.

Weekend SAT and ACT Testing at WOHS

ACT: Jun 13
SAT: Jun 6

Important Things to Note:
•    Make sure you bring a physical photo ID. You cannot test without one. Pictures of an ID are not accepted.
•    These are the dates being offered at West Orange. Other schools may have different dates.
•    You must register online through the testing websites.
•    For ACT, West Orange only offers the paper version of the test. You would need to register for a different location if you want to take the digital version.
•    For SAT, complete the pre-test setup on Bluebook before arriving for testing. You can only access the test ticket if you have done this. You cannot check in for testing without your test ticket.
•    For SAT, please have your College Board login memorized. You will need this to login to Bluebook on test day.

Brainfuse offers free online tutoring through the Orange County Library System to ALL students in Orange County Public Schools.

FREE live tutors are available every day from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Using Brainfuse, students can connect with a qualified tutor for expert help in a variety of subjects.
