STUDENT VAPING PREVENTION CONTEST

Contest Details: Vaping Prevention Campaign Naming Contest
• Eligibility: Open to all OCPS students in grades 6–12. 
• Entry Requirements: Submit a slogan of seven words or less that promotes a vape-free lifestyle. Each student is 
permitted only one entry.
• Submission Process: Students must submit their entries via a link on Canvas or LaunchPad. In cases of duplicate 
entries, the first received will be considered. 
• Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday, October 17, 2025.
• Voting Process: Students will vote during Red Ribbon Week. Link for voting will be shared with students through 
Canvas or LaunchPad. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced in November.
• Prizes:
o Six finalists will be selected: three each from middle and high school. 
o Each finalist will receive a $200 Visa gift card, awarded during Red Ribbon Week. 
o The Grand Prize Winner selected by the students will receive a total of $500 in Visa gift cards.
