Dual Enrollment

West Orange High School has a Dual Enrollment (DE) articulation agreement with the following colleges/universities:
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida International University (FIU), Orange Technical College, University of Florida (UF), University of Central Florida (UCF) and Valencia College. Any WOHS students who meet the eligibility requirements have the opportunity to earn college credits by taking courses with any of the college/universities listed.

What are the requirements for Dual Enrollment and how do I apply?

Valencia textbook Information: How to Print your Course Material Page

For students who ordered their books by 5pm on August 18, 2020
Books are ready for pickup starting at 9 am on 8/27 until 2:30 pm.

How to Print Your Course Materials (Textbook) 
Valencia bookstore click Textbooks (at the top) and choose Buy Textbooks. 
Fill in the correct Campus Term, Department, Course and Section

Make sure you choose the correct campus (East,West, Etc), Term, and whether the course is online or not as listed on your Detailed Schedule
The Department code does not always match the course code. (Example:Amer Gov is POLI)
Course and Section codes must match what is listed on your Detailed Schedule
This is important because not all teachers use the same books
Select Add Course To List.
Repeat Step 2 until you have listed all of your courses.
Click Get Your Books only when you have listed all your courses.
Print this Course Materials page. It has all of your textbooks listed (Required and Optional)
you will need this paper to pick up your books from the media center.

How do I get my Valencia books for the Fall 2020 term? 

**This is a multi-step process so it is CRITICAL that you follow all steps and fill out the form appropriately for all classes.

OCPS has created a form for students to request books.
1. Students will register for classes.
2. Students will send their detail schedule to their counselor.
3. Students fill out the book request form. A separate form must be completed for each class. 
4. Counselors will approve the request if they have a detail schedule verifying the student is enrolled in the class.
5. The school will order the approved books in bulk.
6. Books will be shipped to the school.
7. Students will be contacted when books arrive.
8. Students can pick them up at WOHS.

Deadlines for students to submit Google form:
Priority deadline: Wednesday, August 12th.
Final deadline: Wednesday, August 26th
